St. John’s Catholic Church, Covington KY

Today I bring you a few photos that I took on a blustery day in Covington…

This is St. John’s Catholic Church in the Lewisburg neighborhood of Covington.

The church was originally formed in 1854, but due to the location of the first church, it deteriorated quickly and plans were made to construct a new church.

The current German gothic church was completed in 1924.

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John grace the outside of the church welcoming the parishioners, encouraging them to read their gospels…

I crush on anything that is even slightly gothic… beautiful church. It’s located at 627 Pike Street in Covington, KY… check it out sometime!

Tomorrow, I am off to OTR, hopefully I’ll capture some great images worth sharing!!
